One of the ways to obtain a Residence Permit in Brazil is to invest in the real estate market. Resolution 36 of the National Immigration Council stipulates that foreigners who invest a certain amount in the acquisition of real estate located in an urban area will be entitled to grant a residence permit for real estate investment. The term of residence is 4 years, but it can be converted into an indefinite term later.
